What does walking according to God’s law mean today?

Living in alignment with God positions us best to catch His blessing

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.

Summary

God’s way has been emphasised differently according to the prevailing culture. Essentially it is not about alcohol, entertainment or even social justice or Bible knowledge. It is knowing God, listening to Him and trusting Him — as He has revealed Himself through the record we have.

Prayer

Lord, I want to walk with You and know I am on Your track, not something else I imagine to be Your will.
Free me from the baggage of expectations and involvements that really don’t count in Your kingdom.
Thank You for the truth that there is no condemnation, no burden of guilt, and no separation from You, for those who are in Christ Jesus. Jesus is my Lord, to the glory of God the Father,
and my desire is to be a disciple,
walking with You and being fruitful for You and Your kingdom.
Speak to me and show me Your best direction.
Bless me that I might be a blessing to those around me,
and to my neighbourhood.
All for the glory of Jesus.
