All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realise what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

Summary
The Bible, originally oral tradition, was compiled and written over a period of a couple of thousand years — at least. Yet it speaks to our contemporary world and situations in a remarkable way. It is the number one way God speaks to us today.
Prayer
Father, thank You for giving us Your word — the beginnings, the law, the prophets, the poetic wisdom, all pointing to the coming of Your Son Jesus. His life, teaching the kingdom of God, the promise of the Holy Spirit before making HImself the final sacrifice, then raised to life again. And the life of the Spirit modelled for us in the Early Church. We praise You that we can know the truth, and the truth sets us free! Give us a continuing hunger for Your word and opportunities to share it, especially in this season when many are asking spiritual questions. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
