The joy of belonging carries us through
Verse
Jesus said: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.

Summary
Our insecurity can leave us very anxious about being vulnerable and alone. The remedy is to believe in Jesus at which point we’re not alone. We belong to Him with a destiny in heaven — and His peace holding us in life’s ups and downs.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, life presents many troubles, but I choose to believe in You—
and receive You into my heart.
Thank You for dying for me, so I could receive the gift of new life in You.
Thank You for calling me.
And especially, thank You for receiving me in a relationship of belonging and fellowship,
with a place in heaven. Amen.
